Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, DeJaughn was a graduate of Henry Ford High School before furthering his education at Miles College and Beulah Heights University. Alongside his twin brother, the late DeVaughn Murphy, he carried a spiritual mantle that would touch countless lives. As Lead Pastor of **The dReam Center Church of Atlanta**, he shepherded his congregation with wisdom, humor, and an unshakable belief in God’s promises. His ministry extended beyond the pulpit—he was a pillar in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, a mentor to many, and a worshipper whose passion for prayer ignited revival in hearts.
Pastor DeJaughn’s greatest earthly joy was his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, **Danielle Murphy**; his parents, **Bishop William Murphy II and Lady Donna Murphy**; his older brother, **Bishop William Murphy III**; and a vast spiritual family who will forever cherish his laughter, his wisdom, and his unwavering faith. His passing comes just as the Murphy family continues to grieve the loss of his twin, DeVaughn—a reminder of life’s fragility and heaven’s hope.
