Chloe’s academic journey continued at Case Western Reserve University, where she studied English, Education, and Sociology. Her desire to deepen her understanding of literacy and pedagogy led her to pursue further education at Kent State University, where she specialized in Reading Education. These formative years solidified Chloe’s conviction that education could transform lives and build stronger communities. Fueled by her belief in the power of education, Chloe founded Aspire Academy.
As its Executive Director, she created a nurturing environment where students could dream big and realize their full potential. Aspire Academy became a beacon of hope for children and families, offering innovative programs that emphasized not only academic success but also emotional resilience, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Chloe’s leadership was defined by her unwavering commitment to inclusivity and equity. In honor of Chloe’s remarkable life, her family and friends will gather for Celebration of Life Services over two days: Visitation: Friday, December 27, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gaines Funeral Home, 5386 Lee Rd., Maple Heights, OH 44137. Homegoing Service: Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Imani United Church of Christ, 832 E. 222nd St., Euclid, OH 44123.
The Wake will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Service at 10:30 AM. Repast: Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at Forest Hill Church Presbyterian, 3031 Monticello Blvd., Cleveland Heights, OH 44118. In honor of Chloe’s vibrant spirit, attendees are encouraged to wear something green—her favorite color. This simple gesture is a heartfelt tribute to her enduring love for life and her connection to the natural world.
