Alex Graff Obituary, Death  –  Alex T. Graff, a 31-year-old resident of Medford and originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 14, 2024, as a result of a stabbing incident. His death has left his community, family, and friends grieving the loss of a charismatic and outgoing individual who was deeply loved and respected.

Alex Graff was born on June 28, 1993, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Timothy Graff and Lori Siudak. He graduated from Colby High School in 2012 and worked as a service technician for Energi Tech in Appleton. Known for his vibrant personality, Alex was a lover of life, nature, and adventure. He enjoyed watching sunsets and waterfalls, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, motorcycling, jet skiing, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Beyond his adventurous spirit, Alex was known for his mechanical skills, which he honed with guidance from his father. His hobbies included gardening, raising chickens, and exploring spicy culinary delights. Above all, Alex cherished his family and friends, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by those who knew him.

Alex is survived by his parents, Tim Graff (Bobbi Hansen) and Lori Totzke (Jody Apfelbeck); his sister, Alea (Ava) Decker; his maternal grandparents, Marty and Jim Hager; and maternal step-grandmother, Bonnie “BonBon” Siudak. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Megan Peterson, and a wide network of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernie and Shirley Krause, maternal grandfather Phil Siudak, and stepfather Jeremy Totzke.

A funeral service to honor Alex’s life will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens, Wisconsin. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mark Schwarz. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live on Trinity Lutheran Church Athens’ Facebook page. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is managing the funeral arrangements.

Alex Graff’s untimely death has cast a shadow over his community. He will be remembered for his zest for life, his ability to bring people together, and the profound impact he had on those who knew him.
