Alexander Mentele Obituary, Death – Alexander Mentele, 35, was found dead inside an apartment in New Orleans’ Central Business District on Monday. At around 1:44 p.m., officers from the New Orleans Police Department responded to a call at a residence on Common Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Mentele’s lifeless body.
Initially, the death was considered accidental or self-inflicted, but further investigation led to it being reclassified as a homicide. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office later confirmed that Mentele’s cause of death was blunt force trauma. Authorities have yet to release additional details regarding the incident.
