Kenneth Wayne Obituay, Swets Death – On December 9, Louisiana State Police reported that two pedestrians lost their lives in an accident on Highway 84, close to the 84 Quick Stop.
According to LSP, at approximately 9 p.m., Carleen A. Smith, aged 67, from Farmerville, and Donnie J. Free from Ferriday were walking on the roadway when they were struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Journey traveling east and a 2018 Dodge Challenger heading west. Both individuals suffered fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
